I just came across !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ad for a 1982 Fiat 125p. I know it doesn’t look like much, but I do like them, and ones from before 1983 (when they got horribly cheapified) are pretty rare. According to the ad it’s a one owner car, that has all the original paperwork (and bill of sale!) and it’s only done 21 500 km. It’s basic spec (no tach, limited chrome, no heated rear windshield, etc.) but it’s not a huge issue. It seems rust free but the bodywork looks a bit iffy in places. Still, I’d drive that so much. I’d just get rid of those awful hubcaps.

Very nice! :D I agree....terrible hubcaps though. The price doesn’t seem too bad, but storing it somewhere may be an issue with your family’s car(s?), your Mercedes and the 126! :)

Yeah, storage is the biggest issue. My parents have 3 garages, my mum’s Civic takes up one, the 126p takes up another and the third one houses either my dad’s old Transit van or his Navara depending on what gets more use at any particular time. I don’t have any garages at my place, so my CLK just stays outdoors. The fact that I don’t have a garage is a bit annoying, because it means that if I took the Fiat home for the night I’d have to sit in outside the open. :(
I potentially have one additional place to store a car which is my grandad’s old converted barn about 30 km from where I live. If (or rather when :D) I end up getting another stupid car I’ll probably put the barn to good use and alternate between keeping the 126p and the other car in my parents’ garage.
The price of that 125p I feel is on the higher end of reasonable if the car’s in good shape.

Pity you have such a space limitation....hope the barn idea works out! :D Wish I had the place to even park a second “stupid” (i.e. awesometastically fun ;) ) car! :(
Until I find a full-time job somewhere and get my own place, my mom’s, my brother’s and my cars are all in the driveway......looks like a Hyundai dealership as we all have Accents, haha...sedans with autos for them and a 2-door hatch with a standard for me! :)
I guess the plus side if I get a 126 (which I intend to do!) is that they are quite small, so even a fairly large shed would be a decent size for storing one as long as the doors were big enough!

If that mileage is true, that’s a really good find. A perfect companion to your other Fiat.
